The sellotape has been under the radiator
for months now.
I could pick it up and
put it in the cupboard in about
15 seconds
but still it stays
on its side for days
and days.
“Why has the sellotape been there for ages?”
you ask as you sit
relaxed on the toilet
doing an evening poo.
“I just haven’t had time to pick it up” I say.
“Have you finished yet?”
“No”.
You sit there
and stare
at the sellotape
until you’ve finally
finished.
You wash your hands.
We both look at the sellotape
and walk past it.
Another night on its side
under the radiator.
